Golf Yardage Pro ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

By using Golf Yardage Pro, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Golf Yardage Pro collects minimal information to function:

Location Data
If you tap "Use My Location," the app requests your device's current GPS coordinates. This is used solely to fetch real-time weather conditions from a third-party weather service (Open-Meteo). Your location is:

• Never stored on your device beyond the current session
• Never sent to our servers (we have none)
• Never shared with advertisers or third parties
• Only used in the moment to retrieve weather data

Shot History
When you log a shot, the following data is saved:

• Distance, adjusted distance, and conditions (temperature, wind, humidity, etc.)
• Club used and any notes you enter
• Date and time of the shot

This data is stored locally on your device only using Apple's standard storage. It is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Golf Yardage Pro does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Payment information
• Contacts, photos, or any other device data
• Browsing history or behavior across other apps

4. Third-Party Services

When you use the "Use My Location" feature, your coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) to retrieve current weather data. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API.

No other third-party services, analytics tools, or advertising SDKs are used in this app.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data generated by Golf Yardage Pro is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is protected by your device's built-in security (Face ID, passcode, encryption)
• Is permanently deleted if you uninstall the app
• Can be manually deleted at any time via Settings → Delete All Shot History

6. Children's Privacy

Golf Yardage Pro does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no features that require personal information from any user of any age.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our end, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. All your data lives on your device and is entirely within your control.

To delete all app data, simply uninstall Golf Yardage Pro from your device, or use the Delete All Shot History option in Settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
